We offer a few ways to train in Marysville: in-home private lessons anywhere in the city, sessions in our dedicated training space, or public meetups at spots like the Centennial Trail, Strawberry Fields, and the Seattle Premium Outlets for building confidence and real-world socialization.

In-Home Dog Training in Marysville

Private dog training lessons allow us to work directly with you and your dog in your everyday environment. During an in-home dog training session in Marysville, we focus on the behaviors that matter most to you and create a training plan designed to fit both your dog and your lifestyle.

Training in Our Dedicated Training Space

For clients who prefer a quiet, controlled setting, we also offer sessions in our dedicated training space in Marysville. It's a great environment for building foundational skills and working through behavior challenges without the distractions of a busy household or public setting — especially useful early in training or with dogs that need to build confidence before working around more activity.

Public Training Locations in Marysville

Once a dog is ready to practice around real-world distractions, we like to work in public settings that offer different kinds of challenges. We regularly meet clients at the Centennial Trail for leash manners and calm behavior around joggers, cyclists, and other dogs; at Strawberry Fields for open-space recall and off-leash confidence work; and at the Seattle Premium Outlets for socialization around crowds, foot traffic, and a busier retail environment. Working across a few different locations helps dogs generalize their training instead of only behaving well in one familiar place.

Your First Session

The first training session is divided into two important parts.

Assessment and Evaluation

The first portion of the lesson focuses on learning about your dog and your training goals. We gather information about your dog's history, temperament, and any behavior challenges you may currently be experiencing, and perform a behavior evaluation to better understand your dog's individual training needs.

Hands-On Training

After the evaluation, we begin working on hands-on training exercises that address your goals and your dog's behavior. You will learn practical training techniques that you can immediately begin applying with your dog, and leave with a structured training plan you can start on right away.

We will also discuss additional training options that may help you continue improving your dog's behavior, including private lesson packages, group training classes, board and train programs, or dog trainers that come to your house, depending on your goals and budget.

Training Session Details

Private behavior consultation and training sessions last approximately 1.5 hours, whether at your home, our training space, or one of our public meeting locations, giving us enough time to evaluate your dog and begin working on practical training solutions.

The cost for the session is $195. If you're considering a board and train program, we're happy to walk through pricing options based on your dog's needs during your first consultation.
